Like a cat, this artist (always a craftswoman) has lived several lives, pursued varied interests, raised a family, even hit the wall a time or two. These chapters are the genesis for my metamorphosing into a professional artist – a pursuit now in its 12th year.

Descended from a family with great artistic talent I am both preceded and accompanied by a rich assortment of inspirational people. Self-taught and curious, I have developed techniques and a style that serve me well in the highly competitive world of art jewelry.

My hands are the gateway to my mind - making things informs my thinking. Touch is necessary to my understanding of materials, processes, the world  and myself.

A long fascination with architecture and design strongly influences my jewelry. Hand fabricated in sterling with other elements (from precious to mundane), my designs incorporate unique shapes, hollow-forms, textures and colors in constructions that are clean, contemporary and unique.

My life’s divergent chapters provide an abundant resource for ideas and possibilities. To be fully alive an artist must be open, curious, courageous, and must reinvent herself always – this is both daunting and exhilarating.
